Description of the project
Abacus provided full construction management services (pre-design through occupancy) for new private University housing. Project consists of five 4-story wood frame building structures, over two levels of subterranean parking with a total of 176-living units, with on-site retail and an outdoor park and plaza area located in downtown Berkeley. Units vary in size from 600 square feet to 1000 square feet which total approximately 176,000 square feet of living space, 155,000 square feet of private and public subterranean parking, 4,000 square feet of retail, and 6,000 square feet of open park area adjacent to the Berkeley public library.
