Description of the project
Abacus joined forces with W.E. O’Neil Construction to serve as the construction manager at-risk team for Deer Valley’s Boulder Creek high school. The campus consists of 8 major building components, totaling 299,935 square feet. The high school campus was enhanced with a joint-use county/school library. The school also includes a performing arts complex with a 497-seat main house and 100-seat mini auditorium. Athletic facility components include a main gymnasium with seating for 1,464, an adjacent practice gym which will seat 604, a full football stadium with bleacher seating and lights for night games. Additional athletic support facilities include a full running track, main and practice softball/baseball/soccer fields, basketball and tennis courts.
