ABACUS served as the Project Manager for new construction of the St. Thomas Korean Catholic Church. ABACUS provided Construction Management Services from Pre-Construction, Construction and Post-Construction phases. St. Thomas Korean Center is located adjacent to the existing church building on a very constrained site. The new center is 15,502 square feet and 37 feet high. The worship area has 795 pews and 71 seats for the choir. In addition the building program includes the demolition of the existing entry lobby and modifying access into the existing site and patio area, while the building is occupied. Challenges on this project include access, parking and separating construction from the parish members. Construction Value: $8.08 million
