ABACUS Project Management, Inc. Awarded Contract for Whittier College Renovation/Expansion

Newport Beach, Calif. — ABACUS Project Management, Inc. of Newport Beach, Calif. was selected by Whittier College to provide program and project management services for the renovation/expansion of its Campus Center located on its independent Liberal Arts Campus in Whittier, CA.

Under the direction of Principal, Russell Thompson, ABACUS will work in conjunction with the College Community, City of Whittier, and sub vendors, to successfully bring the project to fruition, on time and on budget. Projects include renovating/expanding the existing Campus Center, modernizing the Food Service area, expanding the Campus Courtyard and enhancing the overall aesthetics of the Campus Center. The College wants to “achieve a design of distinction,” while also complementing the existing architecture on campus. The renovation will maximize and leverage the use of indoor and outdoor spaces, and accommodate the evolving campus community needs. Russell Thomson, Principal of ABACUS.
