This new facility is a 92,000 SF Police Department and Municipal Court facility, and contains offices for Fire Administration, Broadcast Communications and the Emergency and Traffic Operations Center.
The Police Department spans approximately 46,000 SF feet and will include offices to provide the primary functions of administration, command, patrol and communication support center for a current staff of 91 employees.
Surprise Municipal Court is approximately 23,000 SF and consists of courtrooms, associated Judges Chambers, jury deliberation rooms, office space for support staff, office and interview rooms for the City Prosecutor and secure space for detainee holding.
The Fire Administration portion of this facility is 9,700 SF, and consists of offices for the Fire Chief and Assistant Chief, Fire Marshall and staff, fire education and fire administrative staff.
Broadcast Communications spans 4,000 SF and facilitates the broadcast capabilities for the City of Surprise to broadcast over local television stations. |
